May is less than two weeks old, but already we’ve shown half of the BOYS! fine cut to small groups in Palo Alto, California, Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington We were honored to be invited to screen the film for the 50th Anniversary Reunion of the April Third Movement (A3M) on the Stanford University campus. Founded fifty years ago, A3M was a student group opposed to the Vietnam War that protested war-related research at Stanford and the presence of the ROTC. About forty people attended, including several draft resisters and BOYS! supporters. $900 was raised. The other two showings were house parties organized by our new volunteer, Sara Smith, to begin to spread the word about BOYS!
