About the event
Celebrate and honor the life of Tod Friend - a wonderful friend, co-worker, father, and courageous draft resister. Watch a preview segment of the upcoming BOYS WHO SAID NO! film, which Tod is prominently featured in, and enjoy great food! The Tomales Bay Oyster Company and Hog Island will provide an oyster bar. Indian Peach and The Cook and Her Farmer will also tantalize your taste buds. Presented by Tod's family and friends to support completion of the film-in-progress and its nationwide screening.
THE BOYS! film will tell for the first time the inspiring story of the mass Vietnam War draft resistance movement that helped end the war. The film is directed by Judith Ehrlich, Oscar-nominated for Most Dangerous Man in America: Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers.
